The purpose of this paper is to examine tendencies in the size and structure of foreign direct investment inflows to Poland and the cost of servicing them. This study shows the structure of the burden on the balance of payments from the costs of this form of capital inflow into Poland. The work is divided into two parts. The first discusses the changes in FDI’s statistics, the second and the third present adequately tendencies in FDI inflows to Poland in financial account of the balance of payment and the cost of servicing them in the current account. In the fourth part, income of foreign direct investors in Poland and other receivables in balance of payments were compared. Conclusions from the research are pessimistic for polish economy.
Zagraniczne inwestycje bezpośrednie a bilans płatniczy Polski
Celem opracowania była identyfikacja tendencji w skali i w strukturze napływu ZIB do Polski oraz w kosztach ich obsługi. Na tej podstawie ukazano obciążenie poszczególnych przychodów bilansu płatniczego kosztami wykorzystania tej formy napływu kapitału. Artykuł składa się z czterech części. W pierwszej przedstawiono zmiany w statystyce ZIB, w drugiej i trzeciej odpowiednio miejsce napływu ZIB w rachunku finansowym i kosztów ich obsługi w rachunku bieżącym, a w czwartej porównano dochody transferowane na rzecz inwestorów bezpośrednich z innymi dochodami bilansu płatniczego. Wnioski wynikające z przeprowadzonych badań są pesymistyczne dla polskiej gospodarki.
